ESX server / Zabbix Agent

Has anyone tried installing zabbix on a VMWare ESX Server? I'd like to do that so that I can monitor the amount of available space on the iSCSI luns that I have the VMFS volumes for my virtual server. We ran out of space on one last week and it brought our email server down until I was able to migrate some servers around, but I'd like to be able to monitor it with zabbix.

Does anyone have any experience with zabbix and ESX server?

I managed to build a custom zabbix package for ESX, installed it and saw that default agent triggers were working.
But that was only for test purpose, I did not create any custom item or trigger.
