Default views

There should be some way, to define defaults for any form displayed by zabbix. I.e. when user selects View->Map, the default map (if defined) should be opened.
Same should be defined for Latest data, Graps etc.

I would make ZABBIX remember last viewed information rather than defining defaults. Does it make sense?

Also, I'm not sure if this should work for user 'guest'. What do you think?

I think there is two way of using the View tab

first, the network administrator or an advanced user, with important views, graphs and maps, and other less important things. In this case, what he wants is a first page with the important things, and then he can click to have the others. So the last viewed pages will not be what the admin wants to see first. for this, default views are here.

the second way is a user, who is interested only by his graph, map, values and who will rarely go to other pages. for him, last viewed pages are as usefull as a default view.

what i suggest is a mix of both, make it configurable for each user and for each tabs (overview, latest, triggers ...) , a default first screen, or the last viewed.

this would be perfect, but as a first solution i think a default view is better.
