    netz.writespersec.bytes etc. is the name of check. You must use it in Zabbixserver for key.
    "\Netzwerkschnittstelle(AMD PCNET Family Ethernet Adapter)\Empfangene Bytes/s" is the Description of Performancecheck in a german Window version.

      I'm going to past this in the zabbix_agentd.conf. (after the "Server <IP>" ?)

      AMD PCNET Family Ethernet Adapter = It's the name of the connexion ? (= the Description?)
      netz.writespersec.bytes etc.
      I use it for the key on the Zabbix Server so ?

        You can add new item at the end of file zabbix_agentd.conf

        AMD PCNET Family Ethernet Adapter = It's the name of the connexion ? (= the Description?)
        The descriptin can be different from your pc and SierraX

        Yes, under items you need add new item called netz.readspersec.bytes, and configure it.

        NB: i'm new user too... and i not sure if all my answer are correct. !

            PerfCounter= NetOut, "\Network Interface(Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet)\Bytes Sent/sec",15
            I have this in the zabbix_agentd.conf.
            When I try to restart the service, I have an error :

            Windows can't start the Zabbix service on Local Computer

            Error 1053 : The service has not answer so fast after asking of launch
            => It was in French.

            Do I write (\Interface réseau(...) ... ? (in french ?)

              There is no problem with this (to start Zabbix_agent Service) :

              Code:
              PerfCounter= NetIn1,"\Interface réseau(Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet)\Octets reçus/s",15
              PerfCounter= NetOut1,"\Interface réseau(Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet)\Octets envoyés/s",15

                          download the zabbix manual , page 112, example 4

                          I don't know if the example can solve your question...

                          Let me know !!!

                              Windows Network Interfaces

                              Hi

                              you are right: the monitoring of the Windows network interfaces
                              is done via performance counters. Of course, the names
                              are different depending on the language of Windows installed (incl.
                              the french special characters, german umlauts, etc.) !

                              There are, at least, two ways to implement this in ZABBIX:
                              1. As user parameters (see examples in this thread) which requires changing every zabbix_agentd.conf file on every system or
                              2. directly in ZABBIX GUI as items, e.g., using templates for different network hardware

                              We discussed both solutions here and came to the conclusion
                              that using "perf_counter[...]" as an item in ZABBIX is much easier
                              if you have a lot of Windows systems to monitor. Especially if you use templates.
                              We are lucky, because we have just US English on all our Windows Servers.
                              Clients are, of course, a different story.

                              YMMV.

                              Regards

                              Norbert.
