this assumes your zabbix box can reach the internet. isnt the idea behind using a modem to have out of band communications? why bother with using a web service, or this other crazy scripting stuff. if you DO have internet connectivity just email your SMS message to your phone. so much easier than whatever else it is you guys are trying to do. Is there something I am missing here?
