    1.4.4 Graphs bug

    Hi,

    I think I found a bug.

So, I'm using templates with zabbix 1.4.4. I've a host linked to one template. When I create a graph into the Template, everything is fine. If I want to create a graph on one host using the template, it fail : I can create the graph, add one item, and nothing more! When I try to add another item I've a "blank screen" (without any item from any host and any group).

    Example:
    - Template : Template_Linux
    - Host : linux_srv (linked to Template_Linux).

    1. I can create graphs on Template_Linux without any troubles using Template_Linux items.
    2. I can't create graphs on linux_srv (Actually I can create graphs but only with one item from linux_srv !).

Something more wired, that's there seems to have the same problem on simple hosts. I have an host, linked with no template (a standalone host). Items and triggers are on the host. When I create a graph, I can only add one item from the host (as previously). When I try to add other items, I still have the same screen (the one where you select items) : groups=all, hosts=all => no items!

The "error" message on the "blank screen" is "No groups defined". Group and Host select menu are setup to "all" and I've no other choices.

Of course I read 1.4.5 release notes and I don't saw a bugfix for this.

Have anybody experienced this problem ? Is this a known bug ? Any information about that ? How can I help you with some information I can collect ?

    Thanks,
    n0mad

There have been a few posts about this before. Something wierd with the templates and graphs. Let me search around the forums and see if I can find that post. If I don't post back, try a bit of digging around on the forums because I know I have seen this before.

Any one else have a comment?
