Zabbix server stops after 8 hours

Hello all,

We are using zabbix 1.4.4 everthing is working well but zabbix is stops after 8 hours zabbix status is ok.

When we gestart zabbix-server it works well again but puts stops after ca 8 hours.

Hope anyone can help us.

please paste the appropriate lines from the zabbix_server.log file
It gives the reason and message why it stopped

I highly doubt these are the last lines after the zabbix server stopped.

Hi,

I am posting in the name of Han (my name is Berry)

I found out that the problem is similair to the following problem (same outputs /symptons):

I guess it is fixed in the pre-zabbix-1.4.x version.

But what is a wise decision?? Should we wait till maybe 1.4.6? or wait for 1.6 on 18 september? Or change it with the nightly builds?

If you are sure that the 1.4.x-svn solves your problem, i'd try that. You dont need to replace the webinterface and stuff, just the server binary.

So just recompile zabbix_server from a 1.4.x-svn checkout and 'try'.
