    Query Failed! Zabbix 1.6

    Getting the following:

    13124:20080919:160912 Query failed: [insert into applications (applicationid,hostid,name,templateid) values(200100000000353,200200000010062,'Services', 200100000000115)] Duplicate entry '200200000010062-Services' for key 2 [1062]

This is a new install, new db, etc. Using discovery to find exiting Zabbix clients. Causing the node to cease communication with the Master.

    Any ideas?

I get this quite a lot in 1.4 - it happens when zabbix' sequences get out of sync. If you try a couple of times, you'll notice the number in the error is increasing each time, so just keep retrying the save until you get to a number that isn't a dupe, and it starts working again.

Not a great solution, i know, but should get you running again.

It seems to happen for me when I start moving/copying stuff between nodes, but there could be loads of conceivable cases that would cause it.
If you can come up with a repro or detailed list of circumstances, I'm sure it would appreciated by the devs - alas, i've been unable to thus far.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I'll see if I can get together a nice set of circumstances and post it. Thanks, again!!
