    error msg's in webfrontend

    Hi all,

I'm not sure if I configured something wrong, or if this is a GUI bug, so

In Monitoring -> latest data -> host I get these errors (in error box on bottom of page), one for each item.

    Undefined variable: item_cnt[/data/zabbix/www/latest.php:445]

    Anyone else getting this?
    Known bug?

I am not getting that error... but I did a clean install, not an upgrade.

              Hi Guys,

How can this error be fixed with a kind of workaround? I see this message too (Undefined variable: Undefined variable: item_cnt[/var/www/latest.php:445]) in the "Latest data" overview. I'm running a distributed setup with just one master and one slave node, version 1.6

              Thanks!

              Gr,
              Wouter

You may download and use pre 1.6.1 available from www.zabbix.com/developers.php.

Thanks Alexei for your prompt reply!

The frontend of the prerelease fixed the error message! I do however have another question; is it normal that in a distributed environment not all the columns of the 'Latest data' (master with subnodes) are filled? In my case the 'Last check' column is really important. Is there a way to get the lastest data column filled? Is this a known issue? If desired i can attach a screenshot!

                  Thanks!

                  Wouter

I am also having a similar issue. The master was up and running first then I created the slave and synced. Then added hosts. If I browse directly to the child node all the data is available.

update... even though the latest values are blank, if I click the graph link on the right it has the data and draws the appropriate graph.

Also from the Administration -> Queue page... the data is never correct for remote machines.
@Borrie are you seeing that also?

@ataylo13: I do see the data too in other pages / views. That's why i found it pretty strange that the 'latest data' column was not filled. On the slave i do see the 'Last Check' column filled.

BTW: our traps come in using the Zabbix Sender (passive traps coming in from elements and are processed by a perl script). No problems found here, it operates normally.

                            Grtz,
