How can I help diagnose this issue, and get Zabbix IPMI working with Supermicro-based servers?
I have tried SGI Altix xe310, xe320, xe340, and xe250 servers, which are all more-or-less rebranded SuperMicro machines. They all work with ipmitool, but none work with Zabbix.
Would it help if I could put one of their IPMI interfaces up on a publicly-routable IP so that a Zabbix developer can try to query it?
