webchecks and proxies

I dont know if this is by design or a bug, so here goes.

If i configure webchecks for a host which is monitored by a proxy, do the webcheck initiate from the proxy or node?

I'm not sure yet, but i believe that, in the above situation, the webchecks are initiated from the node, and not the proxy.
I hope this is a bog tho
