Issues with Alerting mechanism in ZABBIX

In my system ZABBIX environment, i have added a discovery configuration for ICMP Ping and my 'fping' command is in place. Also it is showing properly under monitoring-> discovery ->

I have media type, Admin users email configured and the action configured. Is there any know issue for sending out email alerts.

Please give me a solution.

I am having the same issue actually. No alerts for discovery events. I have them set up the same way I'd set up a trigger alert. No dice. I have one rule per possible discovery status (up/down/discover/lost)
