    ERROR: Cannot add host

I'm trying to add a new host in 1.6. I add all of the information for the host add it to a group and link it to the Linux host template. When I click save I get "ERROR: Cannot add host". However if I unlink the template everything works. Once the host is added I can then go in and edit the host and link it to the template. This happens for all templates, not just the Linux template.

Anyone else having this problem? This is an upgraded system from 1.1.6 to 1.6.

    Hey,

I'm having the same issue with trying to clone a template / host.

If I do a normal clone, it works, however if I do a "full clone" which is really what I want, then I get the same "ERROR: Cannot add host".

Also, if doing just a basic clone, I'm unable to delete the cloned entity.

Something odd happening there. I'm using Postgres 8.3.3 as the DB backend. I've noticed a few SQL type warnings in the logs too.

I had the same issue today with a fresh installation. Also i did not try to create a host without a template.

The solution for me was to grant the Delet_Priv in mysql to the zabbix user.
