Irregularities in data retrieved via SNMP

I've recently upgraded from 1.4.x to 1.6 and noticed some oddities in the values being stored in Zabbix.
In 1.6 an item being monitored (via SNMP) will sometimes return the excpected value and others times return & store a value that is obvious not correct E.G
(snippet from an mysql query against history)
    | 22492 | 1224154433 | 199.0000 |
    | 22492 | 1224154402 | 199.0000 |
    | 22492 | 1224154372 | 2001.0000 |
    | 22492 | 1224154342 | 200.0000 |
    | 22492 | 1224154313 | 200.0000 |
    | 22492 | 1224154283 | 200.0000 |
The values are from a jabber server returning the total # of users on the note. The item value is being stored as a float but even then, these are whole numbers and don't have decimal points.
In 1.4.x I didn't see this problem so I'm curious if it's a known issue or if someone has seen & resolved something similar to this.

Thanks for the fix! Now if only I could sort out why 1.6 is segfaulting like crazy (tried the FreeMem fix) then I could actually try putting it into production again.
