Monitoring LOGS problem.

Hi all i have zabbix 1.6 server and agent i am trying to monitor some log on email machine but the item i created as active check and key log[/var/log/maillog] is not checked by the zabbix server in the agent debug i see this:

It seems that they communicate successful but i dont get any values on the GUI interface in the Last Value section.Any help will be appritiated. Thanks !

I'm using 1.6.2. I have the same problem.

Resolution?

I don't remember what we did, but this is no longer a problem.

I have often found that using the latest zabbix_agentd will fail, but using the 1.4.4 version from the web site always works.

I use the latest version first, if I have problems I move to 1.4.4.

I hope this is the resolution for you because I don't remember anything that I did to resolve this problem.
