failure of agent to start on windows xp

downloaded ../zabbix-1.6/msic/conf/zabbix_agentd.conf &
../zabbix-1.6/bin/win32/zabbix_agentd.exe

says it starts successfully but log shows
Unable to add performance counter "\Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time" to query: A required argument is missing or incorrect.

I didn't find anything in conf file that seems to relate to this.

Thoughts?

There are several threads on this. Do a search on Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time and that should pull them up. Not sure what the solution was/is.

You may want to try going to 1.6.1 instead of the 1.6 release.
