Upgrade 1.1 to 1.6

Hello to all
I Need to realize an update of a zabbix 1.1 to the version 1.6.
One of the important steps is upgrade the structure of the database to the 1.1 to the 1.4.

The problem is that the time that is taking is very high: 18 hours. Is it normal?

My database occupies approximately 4G.

I start doubting if it can be the database, it is mysql, version 5.0.45

Conversion from 1.1.x to 1.4.x is very time consuming and depends on database size very much. I have no idea about your hardware, yet it may take 18 hours and even more.
