    Network usage peaks

    Server Alt Linux 4.0 x86 32bit, zabbix 1.6.1
    Client Debian 4.0 (2.6.18) x86 64bit, zabbix agent 1.1.4

I note unreal daily traffic peaks on some monitored hosts

    LOL...nice bandwidth ;-)

My first thought is to have a look at the number of pollers, perhaps it's a little low. Next see how long it takes to pull the data directly from the switch. Though now that I see what I have written... try testing the snmp data pull first. :-)

I upgraded zabbix agent to 1.6.1
      I still have same problem.
There are not snmp devices - only zabbix agent which collect data from OS.

It could be related to a problem we have fixed in pre 1.6.2. The version will be released tomorrow.
