    Zabbix connect to Oracle problem

I am using the Oracle db as the backend db of Zabbix.
It works fine before, however, I don't know why but when I restart the server, the zabbix can not connect to the server anymore

    The following error shows:

/usr/local/sbin/zabbix_server [6499]: Warning: ZABBIX semaphores already exist, trying to recreate.
    6499:20090201:115334 Starting zabbix_server. ZABBIX 1.6.1.

    6499:20090201:115334 Cannot login with zabbix/zabbix@zabbixdb

Is there any way I can get more information/logs than just the "Cannot login with..."?. That is really not helpful.

The oracle database, zabbix are installed on the same server.
The only change I have done that I can think of is I have changed the server from DHCP to static IP and hostname.

I have checked that the oracle db works fine.
And I can use tnsping and sqlplus with the service name(zabbixdb)

      The Server Env:
      Red hat enterprice Linux 5
      Oracle 10201 for linux
      zabbix 1.6.1
libsqlora8-2.3.3 -- lib for zabbix oracle support

I use zabbix 1.6.2 and I get more logs, as shown below:

./zabbix_server [15600]: Warning: ZABBIX semaphores already exist, trying to recreate.
        15600:20090201:142217 Starting zabbix_server. ZABBIX 1.6.2.

It looks like the libsqlora8-2.3.3 error, however I run the libsqlorqtest separated with the same db connection string, it works fine.

Try libsqlorqtest under the user zabbix and set ENV (ORACLE_HOME, TNS_ADMIN)for zabbix user.

            Problem solved.
It seems to me the zabbix user does not have access right to oracle_home.
Even I start zabbix with root, the script automaticly switch to zabbix user when runs the zabbix application.
            It works fine now.

            Thanks.
