I just installed 1.6.3 version and strange things happen. I added new host and two items. One of them is ping check and the other is snmp check. Now I can see that snmp item is disabled because of error timeout. I found in log file error: Timeout while connecting to [192.168.111.15]. Now the most interesting thing. 192.168.111.15 is zabbix_server IP not the host address. Host configuration is to connect to ip address let's say 10.0.0.1.
It looks like zabbix server asks itself insted of the host. I can see ping check value of 0. It could be if server pings itself. Apart from that I can't see any icmp packets from the server to the host. Any ideas....
