Triggers/Events management questions

Hello,
I try use "Status of triggers" + filter (some events) as main event management tool for our first line stuff.
I would like operators to view only events/trigers with "Problem" status. Can I filter only "Problem"? Or is there any possibilities to "close" (automatic not acknowledge) event/triger whose status has change from "Problem" to "OK"?
I can't find documentation on this.

1.6.5 appears to have a bug where you filter on problem and still see all the ok triggers.

would you mind expanding on that bug ? i don't see any bugs in trigger displaying here
