    Email alerts not working since upgrade from 1.6.1 to 1.6.2

    Hello, I've noticed that none of my email alerts are working since I upgraded from 1.6.1 to 1.6.2. The triggers are going off as I see them under the monitoring page but I never see an email event in the mail log. It appears that it's not even attempting to send.

    Email alert - Trigger severity >= "Information" -Send message to User "username" - Enabled

    Ok, I think I found the problem in this thread http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11634.


    My new problem is that when I try and add one of the groups to read access I get the following error... "ERROR: Cannot update group".


    Any tips?

      Ok, I guess you can't modify the default "Zabbix Administrators" group. When I created a new group and modified permissions that way things seemed to work ok.
