Monitoring free disk space on network drive

    Hi,

Some of our servers use a network share for specific storage, eg. z: is mapped to a share and is used for backup space.
If I try to monitor available disk space on this drive z: exactly the same way as I do for local drives (c:, d I get "Not supported by ZABBIX agent".

Any idea if this is possible, and how to do this ?

    Thanks for your answer,
    Steven

We have Z: drives that we monitor as well. It is a shared drive that is part of a cluster setup, with the active node controlling the Z: drive.

We have no issues monitoring space there. I use the following key:
    vfs.fs.size[z:,free]

Whatever physical node the Z: drive is active on, will report the free space. The other physical node will report that item as not supported. I just add that item and key to the Windows template.
