Error while sending data to the server [ZBX_TCP_WRITE() failed [Connection timed out]

Hi,

I have a Zabbix Proxy running on a remote network. This exact proxy installation works on other remote networks. It was created in a VM and them copied to various locations.

This one in particular is not sending any data to the Zabbix server. I occasionally get this error in the proxy log:

Error while sending data to the server [ZBX_TCP_WRITE() failed [Connection timed out]]

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? Running v1.6.2 Proxy, Agents, Server.

Problem solved.

Caused due to a faulty ADSL modem. I replaced it and it worked right away. It is a Zhone 6211-I2 with firmware version 3.01.08.

It could be the firmware but have not tried to flash it back to a previous version yet.
