I took a template that is linked to a host and exported it. Then, I made some changes. The changes I made were:
So, in a nutshell, I exported an active linked template, changed the template name and application name of the items.
However, after importing, I cannot link this new template to the same host as the original one.
I assume the problem is because I did not change the actual name of the items, so the item names in the new template are the same as the old template.
To solve this problem I must either (1) unlink the original and link the modified version or (2) change the item names on the new version.
Is this the correct thinking?
