Zabbix re-reads event logs after agent service restart

I am monitoring windows event logs with zabbix 1.62. If I restart the agent service on the montitored host the zabbix server re-reads the log events from the beginning causing triggers to fire, that have already fired in the past. Any ideas how to keep this from occurring?

See my other Post, check DB table:items, row:lastlogfilesize for your item. If this value is empty or contains a "wrong" value/is not updated u have a Agent problem and u schould report to zabbix support,
