Can not login to frontend in 1.6.4 (all the time Guest)

Hello all

Today, I have upgraded from 1.6.2 to 1.6.4. When I go to the web frontend, ZABBIX immediatly log me in as user Guest. If I logout, I will automatically logged in as Guest again. So I can't login as another user. I have testet with IE7 and Firefox 3.

I switched back to the frontend of 1.6.2 and all is ok. What has changed from 1.6.2 to 1.6.4 which will make this behavior ?

Why you can't? Just go to login page and enter valid user name and password?!

That's my problem. I can't go there. It log me in directly as Guest.



If I press "Abmeldung" (=Logoff, Guest ist using DE), I'm redirected imediatly to the same page logged in as Guest !?!

Authentication type? redirect after login? Or not fully updated frontend?

I receive this page before I can login. The Login-Page never appears...
We use LDAP and the ZABBIX-Admin is from the ZABBIX-DB (no LDAP).

I have copied the whole "frontend/php" directory from 1.6.4 to a new folder and then copied the "conf/zabbix.conf.php" from the running 1.6.2 directory to the new one. After that I have renamed the directories, as this let me switch easy between the different versions.

What information should I provide which would be helpful ?

You have renamed guest (Guest <> guest) user. I guess we should depricate changing guest account at least major fields

Wow, never minded this would be a problem Just renamed it from "Guest" to "guest" and it works know fine with the frontend of 1.6.4.
