    Zabbix claims unreachable hosts

Hello everyone. I have a problem and don't know how to explain it. My network architecture is as following.

    Code:
    net1----R1\
            | \
            | \
            | \
    net2----R2---R3---net3
            |
            |
          zabbix
The router R3 went down and triggers on hosts in net3 correctly activated.
However, hosts from net1 and net2 were reported unreachable too (ICMP ping). They are in the same network and vlan so no L3 connectivity was needed. I am using Zabbix 1.4.6 on FreeBSD. Thanks for any suggestions and advice?

Is your DNS server on net3?

Not sure I can say I have experienced anything similar...

Well it's kind of hard to explain, I do not control those nets fully. They have it somehow distributed.

Nevertheless, in Zabbix is chosen to use IP address in "Connect to" field, so I guess DNS should not be the cause.

Thanks for hint anyway, any other will be appreciated as well
