          saw the post the new version 1.6.4 - compiled with the same parameters of the source code - the result is the same.
          mysql support commands is missing

            there was no need to post whole configure output.
            as for the problem, first, make sure zabbix user can execute the userparameter command.

            second, -t flag unfortunately is broken for userparameters - it was fixed once, then the fix was silently reverted.
            see http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11560 for more details

              you might also try:
              Code:
              zabbix_get -s localhost -k mysql.version

                I run as follows commands. Is this mean a function of getting mysql version hasn't been implemented in zabbix-agent still?
                Code:
                # cat /etc/redhat-release
                CentOS release 5.3 (Final)

                zabbix-agent-1.6.4-1
                # zabbix_agentd -t mysql.version
                mysql.version                                 [m|ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED]

                  I believe it just runs some local commands to get mysql info. Do you have mysql.version uncommented in zabbix_agentd.conf?

                    Thank you for advice. It's pithy advice. I could get mysql version.
                    Code:
                    # vi /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf
                    # grep "mysql.version" /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf
                    UserParameter=mysql.version,mysql -V
                    # service zabbix-agent restart
                    Shutting down zabbix agent: [ OK ]
                    Starting zabbix agent: [ OK ]
                    # zabbix_get -s localhost -k mysql.version
                    mysql  Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.45, for redhat-linux-gnu (i686) using readline 5.0
                    # zabbix_agentd -t mysql.version

                      I have a similar problem with zabbix_get and zabbix_agentd

                      In Windows servers, I have created somer UserParameters called bkverify<something>:
                      HTML Code:
                      UserParameter=bkverifymdaen, C:\ZabbixAgent\bkverifymdaen.bat
                      UserParameter=bkverifymdaen-sdw, C:\ZabbixAgent\bkverifymdaen-sdw.bat
                      UserParameter=bkverifyamden, C:\ZabbixAgent\bkverifyamden.bat
                      UserParameter=bkverifyamden-sdw, C:\ZabbixAgent\bkverifyamden-sdw.bat
                      I can zabbix_get from the Zabbix server:
                      HTML Code:
                      [root@srv8 zabbix_sender]# zabbix_get -s server-store -k bkverifymdaen
                      0
                      But when I try zabbix_agentd.exe -t and the key of my UserParameter it is unsupported:
                      HTML Code:
                      [root@srv8 zabbix_sender]# zabbix_get -s server-store -k system.run["c:\ZabbixAgent\zabbix_agentd.exe -t bkverifyen"]
                      bkverifyen                                    [m|ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED]
                      If I execute zabbix_agentd.exe -p on the agent I don't get the UserParameter, but if I telnet the agent's port and execute my UserParameter I get the correct value.
                      The main problem is when I configure the item (it is on Active status) and trigger I don't receive any data from this item (I checked on the overview and changing the triggers data for the data visualization).
                      Does anyone help me at least giving me an approach? My agent version is
                      1.6.4

                      Manny thanks!
                      Ivan

                        zabbix_agentd -t does not work with user parameters. but that doesn't mean anything - parameter itself will work for zabbix_get, zabbix server and everything else.
                        just don-t use zabbix_agentd -t for user parameter testing.

                          Thanks for the reply, but, in that case, why the data doesn't appear on the overview, if I can zabbix_get that value correctly? I have this configuration:
                          HTML Code:
                          Item Sybase Daily Backup DB failed
                          Type Zabbix agent (active)
                          Key bkverifymdaen
                          Type of information Numeric (integer 64 bit)
                          Update interval 30 sec
                          Status Active
                          And the trigger
                          HTML Code:
                          Sybase Daily DB Backup failed
                          Expression {server-bk-acoyte:bkverifyen. last( 0 ) }=0
                          This only has two possible values, 1 or 0, but in the dashboard I don't see any value.

                          Manny thanks!
                          Ivan

                            forget about the trigger for now. make sure your item receives data (see monitoring - latest data for that).
                            see server logfile for any errors, related to that host.
