MySQL server haz gone away

Hi all! I have some problems in server.log
[Z3005] Query failed: [2006] MySQL server has gone away [select hostid from hosts where host='vmserver02' and hostid between 000000000000000 and 099999999999999]

what's this?

I have the same issue on my ZAbbix 1.6.5 with the same kind of messsage

This has been reported numerous times in this forum. It appears to be a Mysql problem.
