    "Unsucesfull response received from server"

Hi - We have recently configured a second zabbix server (1.6.4) instance to offload some servers to this new zabbix system.

I migrated the hosts/items/triggers/templates with the XML export+import method. After, and re-configured the agents to talk to the new server (in the config file) and also removed the hosts from the old system.

    However, we have this problem:

    On the zabbix SERVER:
"Send list of active checks to [10.139.12.39] failed: host [test-agis01.mascorp.com] not found"
    ...

    On the RHEL5 zabbix AGENT:
"No active checks on server: host [test-agis01.mascorp.com] not found"
    ...

    On the RHEL4 zabbix AGENT:
    "Unsucesfull response received from server"
    ...

This happens on all the four servers we have configured to connect to this new zabbix server. I have read about this "Name", "Hostname" and "DNS" values and I assure we *ONLY* use our FQDN names everywhere.

I can attach configs and logs if needed. Please help!

    Thanks!!

I've attached the screenshots showing the host configuration and zabbix_agentd config file values.

      resolved

I set "NodeID=0" and now it works. Previously the value was set to "1".

      Cheers!

in what file? or what menu?

'I set "NodeID=0" and now it works'

In what file did you set that value?
If it wasn't in a file, what screen? How did you get to that screen?

I'm getting the same error, and I already have "NodeID=0" in zabbix_server.conf, so I'm wondering if you have to set it someplace else as well.
