Hello again, I have some more news on this issue and would appreciate some pointers on how to proceed.
1) Zabbix version is 1.6.6 running on linux, not sure if ive mentioned before
2) It does not matter if the "trigger value = PROBLEM" is specified: now i get the problem even without this condition.
3) I dont know if it's related, but escalation is activated and there is no operation configured for step 1. (see previous screenshots posted 18-09-2009 05:41)
4) I've managed to get a log file with debug enabled when this happens.
I've looked a bit at the log and tried running a few of them select statements manually to see if i could get any clue - but im a little bit at loss and havent found anything yet.
If someone could provide me with some hints as to what to look for Id appreciate it alot.
I dont know how a "correct" flow of actions would be so I dont know at which point this one is going wrong (although i might be able to figure this out from another 'correct' action if i can locate on in the log
)
In the log file, ive located a process that compiles and sends (?) mails.. do you think that i can concentrate on this single process only or could many processes be involved?
best regards
/B
