New Host Group Not Showing up under Monitoring

I was using an old gui (not too old), and just updated to: branches/1.6 - 7331. I still have the issue.

I created a host group and I can add hosts to it, but I can't get it to appear under monitoring/latest data.

Any ideas why? Has it been too long since I added something to Zabbix and I'm just having a brain fart and missing something obvious?

I've been digging through the database looking for a permission issue or database issue, but nothing yet.

Okay, this must be a new "feature". I'd call it a bug.

I got the group to appear by adding a host with existing data.

I got the host to appear by fixing all my firewall issues and having data for that host get populated. Once data started coming into the zabbix server for the host, the host appeared.

So I wouldn't have had all these issues if I didn't get distracted by the broken UI and just went straight to getting the agent working.

That was an hour I'll never get back! Grrrrr
