    Actions never works

    Hi

    I've a problem:

    Item: icmpping
    Trigger: {Template_DOM0:icmpping.sum(30)}<1

    Action:
    Name: ICMP Ping
    Event Source: Triggers
    Enable escalation: unchecked
    Default subject: {TRIGGER.NAME}: {STATUS}
    Recovery message: unchecked
    Status: enabled

Type of calculation: OR (A or B)
    Conditions:
    Trigger value = "OK"
    Trigger value = "PROBLEM"

That actions should send me an e-mail (yes, i've set media types)

So, when i unplug the ethernet cable of one of our hosts, the trigger goes in PROBLEM, but no action is performed... Can't see it in Events

I've tryied also an action with Host = hostname, same thing... actions doesn't work.. Tryed also Trigger Severity = High. Nothing works

This is not the first time that i'm trying to get an action working... i had *always* problems. Are actions working currently? Using 1.6.4

I've had no issues with 1.6.4 and actions, is it possible to send a screenshot of your actions page, might be helpful to see the configuration screen.

you don't look for actions in events - you look for actions in administration -> audit -> audit actions. do you see your action there ?
