escalations on disabled hosts

When i disable a host within zabbix i still get my escalation message, with sends every 12 hour. Is this by design or is this a bug?

I also noticed a few times, that when i fix a trigger(no more diskspace by example) i still get my escalation message. This is very annoying because my coworkers recieve this message also.

my zabbix version is 1.6.4
(i have read the changelog for 1.6.5 but there are no bugfixes about this issue)

I believe it is fixed in 1.6.5.

I have installed zabbix 1.6.5 on a testserver and i believe it's not fixed.
When i acknowledge an event, i still recieve the escalation. (step 2-3)

The same happens with an disabled host.

You have to disable the trigger for the host. On the next escalation alert, Zabbix will put in the top of the message something like "NOTE: Escalation cancelled: Action 'NAME_OF_ACTION' disabled." This will not occur until the next escalation time. So if you have it every 12 hrs you will not see it hup until 12 hrs later or less. Depending on the last alert time.
