installation of zabbix in windows xp

You are talking about the zabbix agent on win xp right?

If asking how to install the ZABBIX agent on any windows computer I suggest you get the installer available at the follwing link.

The ZABBIX server components cannot be installled on any windows version.

I suppose the web front end could technically run on a windows server but not sure anyone has actually tried it (not sure why you would want to anyway).

The database could easily run on a windows server but my guess is very few actually do that.

I'm in a trainig period in a society,and they give me as a project the installation of zabbix in windows xp ,plz is it necessary to have zabbix server in order to zabbix works ? thanks so muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

You can install the agent on win xp, but without a zabbix server to report to there is basically not much to see.

There is nothing you can do, you need Zabbix SERVER running on *nix system first. Without one your agent is pointless
