zabbix on linux ??

Hello everybody,
I have an obligatory project to do which is the installation of zabbix on a virtual machine linux,please tell me which edition and version of linux is the easiest to install zabbix and all the steps to install the edition of linux on a vmware and the prerequistes of zabbix and zabbix to (I don't know anything about linux),please help me ,I'm lost.Thanks so muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.(It's very emergency).

you are expected to have at least minimal linux knowledge - helping to install distro is out of scope for zabbix forums.
it is always suggested to choose a distribution you are familiar with.

as for zabbix installation and prerequisites, see manual. if you stumble upon some problem, ask on the forum about the exact problem.
