    1.6.5 Jabber Messages Issue

    Hello, I've just update to 1.6.5.
    Server fails to connect and send jabber messages.
    Server is openfire 3.6.4 on the same zabbix host.

    This is the log:

    Code:

    436:20090709:111537 JABBER: In send_jabber()
    436:20090709:111537 JABBER: In connect_jabber('[email protected]')
    436:20090709:111537 JABBER: In on_stream()
    436:20090709:111537 JABBER: End of on_stream()
    436:20090709:111537 JABBER: In on_stream()
    436:20090709:111537 JABBER: End of on_stream()
    ...
    436:20090709:111340 JABBER: End of connect_jabber():FAIL
    436:20090709:111340 JABBER: End of send_jabber():FAIL
    Rolling back to 1.6.4 (with its known issues)

    Thanks,
    Manfredi

    Openfire?

    Hello,
    just to make some test.
    Did you use OpenFire 3.6.4 to test Zabbix 1.6.5?
    Is it possible to receive openfire configuration in order to make it work?

    THank you

    M.

        Workaround

        I used a workaround.
        I call a perl script that sends a jabber message as remote action.

            Perl Script

            Hello,
            attached the perl script.
            You should change [email protected] with your valid account and the PASSWORD at line 30.

            Remote action is called this way:

            host_where_script_runs:/usr/bin/xsend.py [email protected] message

            Bye!
