    Item status not changing to Not Supported

    I run Zabbix agents on Windows servers and the whole setup was working perfectly all with Active Checks on about 30 servers.

    I then upgraded the Zabbix server and a few agents from 1.6.4 to 1.6.5 now when I add a new host the items that are not supported are not changing their status on the Item Configuration page, also, the queue is full of these unsupported items that keep trying to send their checks to the agents.

    My servers that are already configured have the correct status for unsupported items but if you change them to Active they do not go back to Not Supported.

    I turned on debugging on a few agents and looked at the log file. The agents are reporting correctly when an item is unsupported. I then checked the server log file and found that the server is logging these unsupported items correctly so the communication seems to be ok.

    A follow up-

    I rolled the server back to 1.6.4 and it's working again. I would like to find out why this is happening as I woul like to upgrade to 1.6.5 but I cannot do it whiole this problem is present, can anyone help please?

      Yes, I'm having a very similar problem using that same zabbix version. Could someone please weigh in on this?
