Start zabbix agent in zabbix server.

Hi Comunity,
In the front-end. in the option "Configuration - Host" in the zabbix server , show this message : "Get value from agent failed: Cannot connect to [127.0.0.1:10050] [Connection refused] " .
How can start the agent failed...en zabbix server ?

Had you added the service port in your /etc/service file?

Verify you have the correct host name in your zabbix-agent.conf file.

These two gems got me the first time I fired up the zabbix agent.

you right, i do the two things and its running now.

I have in Window Server 2003, one similar problem : the service in windows is up, but my zabbix server reports "unknown" in availability in front-end.
i do ping from my zabbix server to windows machine and responds me. What can be...?

And in a Redhat server, when i install the agentd, i don`t find the binaries...?
i send the log like and attach to this. You know about that...?
