After Update from 1.4.1 to 1.6.5 no email notifications/actions

    Hi,

have updated to version 1.6.5 from 1.4.1 and now i got no messages anymore and i don`t know what to do?!

On the Dashboard i can see the events but there were no action performed.

If i look on the debian server in the exim log it says:

    Code:
    2009-07-17 09:28:38 exim 4.63 daemon started: pid=2223, -q30m, listening for SMTP on [127.0.0.1]:25
    2009-07-17 09:28:38 Start queue run: pid=2228
    2009-07-17 09:28:38 End queue run: pid=2228
    2009-07-17 09:58:43 Start queue run: pid=2516
    2009-07-17 09:58:44 End queue run: pid=2516
if i look the zabbix_server.log it shows me a lot of information (debug level 4) . And i think the servers are monitored but no mail is send....

    need help or tips

    Thanx

Zabbix 1.6.x sends messages only to users having read permissions to a host, which generated the event.

      Any idea?

An other think is when i stop the printer spooler in the dashboard i see the EVENT but when i look in zabbix_server.log nothing happen and the debug level is 3?

Ahhhh ok, that was ist.... i forgot to add the GROUP, which includes the servers who not send mails, to the read permission. Thanks a lot.
