I'm having a problem where the queue gets extremely large on the more than 5 minutes and no data is being updated. It appears to happen when a large amount of data is inaccessible for an extended period of time. One example, had a switch go out that had snmp being probed for graphs on about 24 ports. About 6 hours after it went out, graphs for everything stopped. I disabled the host so that it is not monitored. But I still have about 900 items in over 5 minutes and it never goes down. I have restarted zabbix server and it doesn't seem to resolve anything. Any suggestions?
