zabbix_server not monitored

Hi everybody !

For my internship, i have to install and configure my zabbix server.

i have install zabbix 1.6.5 on Centos 5.2 . I have finish to install the webinterface too.

But now, i'm trying to configure zabbix via the webinterface and i have some problems like when i go to configuration/host tab i have 2 host : 1 my xp pc and the other it my zabbix_server with the port 10050 and is monitored but i have this error message : "Got empty string from [127.0.0.1]. Assuming that agent dropped connection because of access permissions" and availability " Not available".

Someone can help me please ? Thx

set Server config variable in zabbix_agentd.conf to 127.0.0.1
