Working hours "When Active" wont work

Hi i have some problems with the "when active" e-mail configuration.

Because of some backup jobs i set the "when active" time like "1-7;05:00-20:00" because i dont want to get an alert when the backup job needs to shut down or restart some services for backp issue.

But i still get the Alert messegaes at 9:46pm when the services are suhutting sown and at 4:51 am the recovery messages..

Btw im unsing the standard Admin account with my e-mail setup

    Now my question why?

i'd suggest using 24 hour clock always, makes it easier to figure out what's wrong.
i just tested this on trunk install that i have right now, and it works ok.
which zabbix version do you have ?

      Thx for the answer.

Maybe youre right but i dont need to know when the backup job stops services ( i only need to know if the services are up again or if the services are running at 6:00am again). Its unless information for me, to much mails, spam..

EG only one server stops and starts 7 services for the backup job so i get 14 mails from ONE server.

Is there a way to reduce the "unless" e-mails?

no, i meant - use 24 hour clock when describing your problem. check administration -> audit -> actions - is the message really sent to the user that has "active" time period configured to not receive them ?

quick hint - check php timezone setting

edit: ergh, should think before typing. if alerts are happening in wrong hour, that's server, not frontend - check time on the server where zabbix server runs.
