Refresh Rate Not Updating Ontime

When on the items when you put an Update Interval of 30 or 60 why does this item in the Latest Data window not get updated every 30 or 60 seconds but instead at a seemingly random interval, is this information sat in the buffer on the server waiting to go? Is there a way to change this so that the Update Interval is the actual time interval that values are retieved on?

You can get a small "error margin", like +/- 2 secs.

If polling is a bit mot erratic that this, go to Admin > Queue
If there are lots of items "piling up", you should try and adjust your zabbix_server settings (starttrappers, startpollers depending on what checks you use). If this doesn't help maybe your DB server is too slow: check configuration, RAM, ...
