Windows server 2003 64bit. Agent only responds once.

I have a weird problem. I have a 64 bit Windows 2003 server. I've installed the 1.4.4 64 bit agentd (the last agentd I can find pre-compiled).

The client replies to the server ONCE, then is silent. The agent service stills shows as running, but there are no new entries in the log, just silence....

If I restart the service, it will respond to the next query from the Zabbix server, then it's silent again.


Any ideas where to go from here?

Interesting. Have you tried some of the usual tricks for testing agents such as telneting to it and so forth?

Where did you get the agent? From the tarfile or the website?

Heya Andrew!

I don't remeber where I got the pre-compiled agents, might have been from either. I've had the 32 bit agent working for some time, I installed the 64 bit later, never has worked right.

I'll go back and try both sources, they might have been compiled differently.

Anyone know where I can get the latest version compiled, or have there not been any changes in the Windows Agents recently?
