Guest user with read-only attributes still can change items

Ok, I created a new user with the guest group. I modified the guest group to have read only access on selected servers. When the new guest user logins, I have it re-directed to the overview.php screen.
PROBLEM> I can select a error condition (with a red square), and modify/acknowledge, and then found out i can go anywhere and change things. uh...is there something else I should be doing to limit the "Guest" abilities?

which zabbix version ? can you explain what you mean by "go anywhere and change things." - where exactly can you go and what exactly can you change ?
