[1.6.6] Changed authentication to LDAP: Users can't see any allowed hostgroups

    Hi

we have setup a distributed monitoring environment using version 1.6.6:

    ZABBIX-Master <-> slave82 <-> slave80

All users are created on the master and the permissions are set for
the usergroup Win_Admin to see all hosts in hostgroup Win_Server
    on slave80.
This works fine as long as we use internal authentication as
    the system default.

However, as soon as we change the system default to LDAP authentication
and change the usergroup to use internal authentication, neither
the hostgroup is shown nor can the user select the node slave80.

LDAP authentication works fine, that is not the problem.

We appreciate any advice how to solve it.

    Thanks in advance

    Norbert.

    Hi

it seems that this bug was introduced in 1.6 and has nothing in
    common with the LDAP authentication.

    Filed as ZABBIX issue ZBX-1118.

    Hoping for a fast fix.

    Regards

    Norbert.
