    Relation between multiple dependencies

Can someone tell me which logical operator is used when you define multiple dependencies for one Trigger?

I hope you didn't unterstand it because I need a conjunction (AND)

We have a redundantly designed network in our company. That ist for example Switch3 depends on Switch1 AND Switch2.
So I don't want to get a notification about Switch3 only if Switch1 AND Switch2 are down.

        Hi,

richlv is right, it is an OR.

You can achieve what you want with a group:
        - create a group "Redundant switches" that contains both switch1 et switch2.
        - create a trigger that will be true when both switch1 and switch2 are down (see "Aggregated checks" in Zabbix manual)
        - make switch3 depend on this trigger

        Hope this helps

bah. you robbed me from an insightful suggestion

that might not work that well if one needs more complex relations (like different functionality and depending on many triggers).
maybe worth submitting on the feature request tracker (although i suspect that will result in somebody requesting custom and/or expression editing for dependencies...)

            Hi all,

May I ask if this feature has been added in the new version? Because I also need this AND operation. Thanks a lot.
