Zabbix 1.7.1 Bug report

Hi all.

Found annoying problem with 1.7.1 version - it is impossible to link one template to another. E.g. I create new template, MY_Template, trying to link it with Template_Windows and got error message.

are you sure you are not simply having the same application in both templates ?

Maybe this bug is already fixed in trunk, I don't know, but it 100% reproductable in 1.7.1
In attach a couple of screenshots with bug represent. Screenshot1 - just the list of templates. Screenshot2 - creation of new template. Linked template, out of the box Windows_Template is set up, but save is not pressed yet. Screenshot3 - error message after save pressing.

It says nothing about error. Here is what logged into the process frame. Nothing about error reason. Screenshot4 - error message with scrolled down log frame.

Finally, tested on 8229 trunk. Works fine. By the way, database creation script on trunk package is outdated, new fields on items table (authtype, password, etc) arent present.

can't confirm. these fields were added to the schema file in rev 8128
