zabix server unreachable

running my server I am taking that message in the log "Server:agent.ping] error: Got empty string from [sv8bur-desktop]. Assuming that agent dropped connection because of access permissions" what this mean

it means just that - agent configuration file is not properly set up to allow connections from the server. see 'server' parameter.

i dont kno why. earlier it worked fine for me. after i left it about 1h i come back it became like this.

Please help.

why agent stops, i have no idea. as for the server log, you have misconfigured 'server' directive in the agent config file

channelasian, don't use 127.0.0.1 in your agentd.conf.
